River Kent

Today's the day ......................... to quietly flow

This was the River Kent near Sedgwick today - innocently flowing along as if butter wouldn't melt in its mouth.

Not so long ago, it was a raging torrent, way up above the level of the over-hanging rock, carrying all sorts of debris along with it.  Today, you could see right down to the river bed - and probably could have waded across without it coming up to the top of your welly boots .....................
