Sunrise, sunset ....

I braved the icy conditions first thing this morning and went down to the beach to watch the sun rise ..... not surprisingly the beach was deserted ...... it was so cold that I didn't linger long!

At the end of a bitterly cold, but sunny day the sun started to sink casting a wonderful warm glow over the sky.
