Valentines Day

Flowers..........well, not really, just a bursting blue anemone from the garden :-)

This is the first year hub and I decdied we wouldn't do cards or anything for valentines.

Today has been a lovely bright cold day. We had a good walk earlier this morning, followed by papers and a coffee, before I started preparing dinner for 4, as youngest son and DiL were joining us mid afternoon. Roast chicken, stuffing, white cabbage and onions with caraway seeds, carrots, griddled sliced courgettes, roast potatoes and gravy :-) its so nice to see DiL driving, having passed her test recently. Youngests eyes are still blurry :-/

Daughter has just popped round this evening with a Valentine's chocolate bouquet, made of snickers bars. A thank you to her Dad :-)
