Discovered this fascinating church.....

....today and this is just the outside.  It's the Priory Church of St Andrew Stoke Courcy and dates from the 11th century.  It was in a village not a million miles from where we live called Stogursey.

We'd gone on a drive around just to get out of the house for a bit.  Sunny but a bitterly cold wind.  It was fun and I was treated to tea at a local farm shop.  We also had our breakfast at the Driftwood and I waved across the channel to Welshmaid!!

The extra is a lovely lead 'thingy' and stone 'whatsit".  The names escape me at the moment but I'm sure someone can tell me!!
