Same church, different day, different elevation.

A day for doing things in the great outdoors. Pleasant in the sunshine - maybe 6C - but a chilly NE wind was taking the edge off the temperatures. This is the western elevation of St Bartholomew's Church in the late afternoon sun. The extra is the GOREUS stone which stands outside the west door and although the origins are unclear it is thought to be a memorial to a British Chieftain who lived about 1500 years ago.
