Clints Crag

We went somewhere we had never been to before today. We were up early as the friend that  told us about this walk (A Wainright outlying fell), told us the views were good. We thought we may get a good sunrise over Skiddaw but as usual we were just a little late.
We then had to wait for the sun to get higher in the sky before we could get decent pictures.
The walk was very interesting, setting off from Blindcrake we walked over the top of the Crag then down to an old ruined farmstead which I found most interesting. We followed the path towards Sunderland but as it was at a low level we decided to go back the way we came to get the better views.
A lovely 5 hours out followed by lunch at Wellington Farm.
