The shipping crane

This 200 tonne crane, once one of a pair , was built in 1954 in Corys Wharf, Rochester riverside. It was used to unload aggregates for the nearby cement works. The two cranes were dismantled in 2006 and one of them reassembled, painted in its original colour and re-erected at Blue Boar creek.

Its quite an impressive piece of industrial art.
