Fleetwith Pike Summit

Today I was released from nursing duty and a great day out was had, taking in Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks. 2 winter wainwrights neatly ticked.
I'd almost forgotten what a mountain looked like....

One of Tim's ageing plastic mountain boots gave up the ghost somewhere between the two summits, and we had to engineer a solution.
Tim has only had those boots 25 years, "nothing lasts anymore", he whinged...
I'm still laughing.....
