Capturing my Journey

Poor Cuillin

Disaster struck this morning as I caught Cuillin with the front wheel of the buggy. I thought i had killed him then thought id paralysed him but after a closer look husband thought his hip was maybe dislocated. Well cattle day was off and husband and i dropped everything and rushed off to get the ferry to the mainland. No x ray machine on the Island. Thankfully our diagnosis was correct and the vets took him in and xrayed and then relocated it. They wanted to wait as long as possible to make sure it would stay in place so we had 5 hours to kill.

Interesting facts we found out about Cuillin, he has a heart murmur, and his hips are in great shape and show no signs of displasia! The second fact should help with keeping his hip in the right place. Hes on complete cages rest and they want to see him on thursday again to make sure its still right. Hes eaten his dinner and was bright on the ferry and wanted people to talk to him but i wouldnt let them as he wanted to move too much. Totally exhausted now. Thinking hot bath then bed.
