Touch me not!

Spines and trunk of the honey locust. We have two, wild not planted! Gleditsia triacanthos, named for the 18th century botanist, Johann Gleditsch. Triacanthos refers to the three-branched thorns, not quite so obvious here.

A windy, cool day with little sun. We are looking forward to Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the 60s and 70s! Then "back to bloody January again" (Flanders and Swan) except that it is February!

That's enough of all that!
