Viking house

Charlotte came home at half term with another mini project to complete - going back to the Vikings who they found out about in Year 3. They could either do a power point presentation, a piece of writing or a model concentrating on one area.

Charlotte's choice - a model house. Thanks to the design department at work I got the shell of the house made up on the CAD table - got to be some perks of working in a cardboard box factory! She has worked really hard making bits of furniture out of cereal boxes, food and pots out of modelling clay. With minimal help she has made a peat fire, a loom and weapons with shields.

Finally got it finished off tonight and I think she's done a great job. Not sure we will get it back so took lots of photos of all the components and have used them in a collage.
