Mill Creek Retired Home for Horses

Today we had a lovely brunch made by my husband (check out the extra photo - he made sous vide egg benedict with salmon, skillet potatoes, and my friend Kelly made fresh mimosas!) and went to the retired horse farm in Alachua.

It could not have been a more beautiful day - cool weather, sunny, not a cloud in the sky - which of course was pretty brutal for taking photos, but made for an incredible experience while we were there.

Admission to the retired horse farm is 2 carrots - but that won't get you far. We brought a 5 pound bag of carrots and a 3 pound bag of apples and still didn't get a chance to feed all the horses.
