Daintree Rain Forest

Today we left the coast and went inland to the Daintree Rain forest . We had a lovely Aboriginal guide who took us on a very steamy walk, pointing out poisonous plants (of which there are many) and non poisonous plants (of there are few). He also explained something about the designs painted on bodies and what some of them meant. The paint's are all made from either plant matter or different clays.
The orange mark is his family mark, the yellow marks are the number of siblings and the white dots depict rain from the rain forest.
Later we went out on a boat along the Daintree river and saw a whopping great crocodile.
