3 is a very big number

It is you know. Especially when you are three.

Yesterday's conversation went like this:

E: Me a birthday the 'morrow.
Me: Yes sweetheart, you are. Isn't it exciting?
E: 'es. Me like some choc-lock (chocolate) and aeroplane please.
Me: Is that what you'd really like?
E: 'es. Me be three. Me big girl. Look - long legs, long hair, long arms: me big girl *wanders off to inspect Play Doh*

Such big worries when one is three.
