The second half of life..

His-tory

Attic day today.

We had different ideas about how much 'stuff' Mum had in the attic.  I took on the role of attic-manager, went up there and passed things down to T & F who took on the roles of receivers and storers.  After about an hour the attic was empty......and the entrance-way was full.

The sorting of the attic 'stuff' is going to take a while.  Mum has stored some absolute treasures up there, things which may or may not be valuable to other people but in the context of our family will be huge.  Photographs, letters, collections, stamps, coins.......it may be that we don't manage to discuss everything before I need to return to NZ.  C'est la vie.

This collection of photographs, postcards and letters is all stored in a dented and chipped Brodie Box.  A battered tin box housing Frank's early family history.
