Timeless.

Men at work...three generations of craftsmen. It's always a pleasure catching the wheelwrights as they go about their ancient craft. After all the patient shaping of the wood in the quiet, sweet smelling shed the final act is full of drama. Fire and water, muscle and skill all come together in teamwork to shrink the metal rim onto the spokes and then stop the red hot metal burning the wood. The result is steam and smoke, the smell of burning wood and the hiss of water turning to steam as water is poured over the new wheel to cool it. Pure magic.Primeval.
