Scourie Bay..

..another wet start to the day, and a period of slushy snow. But became bright and sunny around 2.

Cleaned the eggs from the last two days, L came round for her eggs, G normally delivers them at Yoga class. Then went to the Dr's with her eggs, and then to the shop for some milk. Went to the changing rooms to read the meters, and locate the damaged end panel.

Turns out the zip is damaged, but only one tooth. It may come apart in a strong wind, but doesn't have to be used. Is it worth replacing?

Tanni had a good run on the football pitch.

Went down to the new tunnel this afternoon and fitted some rails and the first side of a raised bed. Too wet to do anything else.. There was a helicopter flying around, which really upsets Tanni. She disappeared to the bottom of the croft and hid behind some horse manure bags..

Second pic is of the tunnel. The ditch in the forground takes water away from this patch of land, and has been running for weeks now. Just beyond that, I've dug the topsoil away and put it on the tunnel site. I now have to fill this with rock, building a facing wall at the same time. On the right, all the ground posts are in place, and I've fitted the ground rails. On the left, the corner posts only are in place. The near bit of wall is approx 5 feet in height from the bottom of the ditch..

And all done by hand!..
