like fireflies

The tiny tufts spines on this cactus remind me of fireflies. It's almost time to repot it as it's grown quite a lot since I bought it last autumn. It lives on the kitchen windowsill and seems to enjoy the afternoon sun. Been raining for most of the day so I've been collating photos to make another photobook.
