Oxalis

When our garden waterfall and pond were repaired, a lot of the surrounding plants were cut back. I was particularly saddened by (what I thought was) the loss of this particularly charming purple leaved plant I had noticed growing in the shade. How delighted I was when I saw it regrowing, so I did some research on it. It is also called wood-sorrel and it is an edible wild plant often used medicinally by the indigenous people.
Micah was particularly pleased when I pointed it out to him because he had prayed that God would make my plants grow back!
