Snowman International airport

Another back blip, a couple posted for yesterday as well.

This was the end of what has been an amazing and memorable break. It was snowing heavily as we left the beautiful island of Senja. The airport at Bardufoss had just 2 flights all day, both to Oslo, but snow doesn't delay anything here. As Frederik our Norwegian boatmen told us "we are good at moving snow".

We had a 5 hours stopover in Oslo so took a train into the centre and was most impressed by the Opera House on the harbour. We were less impressed by the journey back from Gatwick - 5 plus hours to do a 3 hour journey (and no snow on our roads)

Reality hit again today (Wednesday). Tomorrow I will get back to commenting, I am so pleased that a little of the magic we saw was so much appreciated by you all, THANKS.
