Shadows

Shadows in white trace a former resting place, like the chalk-outlined corpse from a noir film.  A new agave leaf leaves its impression on a sibling, forming smoke-like trails on the back of the next leaf to emerge.  On the left, the two leaves are still nestled together.  The whitish highlights around the first leaf's edge become the irregular trail of clouds on the left.
