Happy News! The Queen Still Reigns

We took our 18 year old Maine Coon to the vet's today because of a recurring infection. We contemplated that we might not be bringing her home. It was a worrying thought because, other than the infection, she is doing well. We had a good long talk with our wonderful vet and we all agreed that it was too early to escort Fiona to her next destination. If we need to periodically give her antibiotics to clear up the infection and if her general life is good, as it is now, we'll just keep providing the medication. So we did that today and had a bunch of tests taken to assure that she is doing as well as she seems. At the end of the appointment we brought her home and she immediately made it clear to the other two cats who was boss. So the Queen still reigns. Here she is in large.
