Flight to Edinburgh was painless and I had the luck to arrive just as the sun set.

The Pentland Hills were covered in snow and the sky behind them was a brilliant blue.  Another reminder of how awesome it was to have lived in Edinburgh.

I took the tram into town.  It was actually OK despite it being rush hour and the tram filling up very rapidly.  Got off at St. Andrew's Square and was quickly settled into my hotel.

The hotel offered the added bonus of giving me a prime view of one of my old offices.

Once I'd dumped my stuff and turned the heating up, I headed out to meet up with rxs and his mates.  That was a very jolly evening.
