Morning Journey

I stopped on my way to work this morning to take this because it was due to rain later.
I am heading east from Sheffield towards Rotherham along the edge of the lower Don Valley. We get fantastic sun rises from here some days - it looks flat but I'm told there is nothing between here and the Urals at the same elevation.
As recently as those late 1960's it would have been impossible to see far or hang your washing out because of the smoke from the steel works. Now I just try to avoid Meadowhall!
