Cleaned

Yesterday the Cowan Well was cleaned using a high pressure hose, and it seemed to be a very different colour from before. All the muck has been removed from the open joints, and I hope that this doesn't mean that water will get into them, freeze and cause damage.

Other than that, the Lammington viaduct seems to have been repaired so I don't have to go out to Biggar to save her the coach journey into EH and the bus back out. Hence, now I've Blipped, I've more time to prepare the guest room for the arrival tomorrow of our niece Mlle N from Quebec for a three-week visit.
