Queensferry

Old Cramond Bridge

This was once the main road north to South Queensferry until the new bridge was built in 1964 when the Forth Road Bridge was opened. It is dated as late 15th century or early 16th century. Now it is a popular footpath and is part of National Cycle Route 1. I often wonder how many ancestors have crossed it when I ride over it each day.
