Trustee Savings Bank

What a stunning morning after the rain. I could not resist stopping to take some photographs of the former Trustee Savings Bank, located at the gushet of Shamrock Street and New City Road.

The building stands out as a beacon of good architecture in an area that has been decimated over the years.

Designed by Neil Duff, 1906, this dramatic building is distinguished by its Baroque detailing, including domed corners and elaborate sculpture and carverwork.
