Forgotten

Went for a walk in the grounds of derelict Mavisbank House.  I didn't know about this place until it was mentioned in a talk at photo club the other day.  The house itself had been damaged in a fire.  The grounds stretched out, according to the map this area was called the canal.  There was not another soul around and the setting was bleak.  It was like stepping into a lost and forgotten world: a place essentially abandoned.  It was so atmospheric and beautiful and it's own way.
