A crocus in the lawn

It's green bin day tomorrow so I thought I'd fill the bin with all the twigs that have fallen off the lime trees.  I tried raking them up but in the end it was easier to pick them up individually.  Thank goodness we no longer have half an acre or I'd have been there forever.  Actually, I wouldn't have done it.

This lone crocus was sitting in the lawn, missed by the squirrels, so it deserved to be photographed and turned into a specimen.

I've added three extras from a very busy morning in the bird world.  The strangest is a great tit with an almost completely black front.  I also spotted a snoozing ladybird.

Many thanks for all the stars and hearts yesterday.
