Horrible day - stormy, snow and freezing all day. Tomorrow sunshine and double figure temperature forecast before it snows next week.

Up and down, just like my pulse and I wasted my day on the PC. Sadly it's the only real way I have of getting any info on what is going on in the UK. It doesn't interest the press here. Today the UK was the first item on the news but only to say an agreement had been made and Cameron would be taking it home for his people. No commentary on whether good or bad. Germans aren't very interested in politics or better in debating it all. Once a decision has been made they switch to the teutonic virtue of "duty" and simply get on with it. This virtue has in the past been very damaging but in normal times it does mean a job gets done without much time wasted on why?

There are TV discussion programmes but rare and certainly not on Saturday and not before 18:00 on Sunday evening.

While the battles raged outdoors with fat blackbirds denying the tits shelter and food, I got stuck in to UN, NATO, UKIP,, EU, IN, OUT .....hate, greed, lies, hoax, slander, rumour, racialism, prejudice, terrorism and all that over the pre breakfast coffee. There was more to come.....

What a terrible waste of even such a terrible day.......
