There's Snow on them thar Hills!

After taking Rona for her morning woodland walk, (see today's extra) MaggieD and I took off in the car. We spotted this photo opportunity near Bannockburn so here you are.
Old Stirling crowding up the hill under the protective walls of the great castle and the morning sun is making the snow capped hills sparkle.
Although the Great Hall was renovated several years ago, that buff coloured lime wash still looks pretty bright compared with the rest of the castle. Apparently, this is how it was way back in the day.
