Day 053 Flower and Lace

This flower was one of many made for Laura and Huw's wedding. I rescued it from the bin at the end of the evening. I cherish it as a momento of a fun-filled day.  

The flower now lives on the windowsill in my guest bedroom, grandchildren for the use of.

I like the sharp lines and gentle dilapidation of the flower against the fussiness of the lace.
