Aw shoot!

Racing to the airport and all the notices said the M62 was closed near Huddersfield. Our driver knew an alternative route but so did everyone else. Baggah.

This is the view that greeted us on our first diversion. We went to Holmfirth, it was gridlocked and sleeting. Went back over some moors and into fog. What a journey. At one point we did 3 miles in an hour. So instead of a leisurely check in we thrashed to the desk with 5 minutes before the gate closed. Phew. The next 8 hours were spent with Townsville Cowboys who had just thrashed Leeds Rhinos 38-8? And we're in full voice. Great day yesterday.
