Old and New

I've got a very good first impression of Malaysia's capital. Easy and efficient transport, non intimidating people, well organised and lit roads, good tourist maps, lots of food.

I sat and watched the sun go down in medeka square and listened to the prayers ring out. I found them just as comforting as listening to buddhist monk chanting or hymns. Which is probably odd for an atheist, but those sorts of things always touch something in me.

New language (sort of, as it turned out mostly the same as Indonesian) : fried rice, noodles, chicken, fish, hello, thank you

New food: Nasi goreng Ali (crazy spicy fried rice)
