Glenogle to Killin

Had a wonderful club outing today in glorious sunshine.

We started our walk at the top of Glenogle and walked up the Acharn Forest track, quite hard going, gaining height until we were walking in the snow.  We had beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, the Tarmachan Ridge, Ben More and Stobinian, Ben Vorlich and Stuc a chroin, all hills I have climbed in the past, and they looked superb with their covering of snow.

Had a lovely lunch spot just before Cuildochart, and then it was downhill towards Killin and the beautiful Falls of Dochart.

Then of course we had our usual pub stop, this time at the Killin Hotel, and a happy bunch were we, feeling very satisfied with our 8.5 mile hillwalk.
