Borders Evening

We went down to Galashiels to see a talk by Prof Iain Stewart, the geologist, about the threat from earthquakes on Istanbul. He was good, but the venue very warm. We decided to make a day of it, and go up a couple of Marillyns. The first, Windlestraw Law, a very wet hill, despite the hard frost and then Meigle Hill above Clovenfords. The latter gave us this lovely sunset. The extra is a panorama of the Pentlands from the road over to Innerleithen.
