Wanganui

On our journey back to Wellington a stop off at Wanganui - a lovely coastal city with the dirty river meandering through and out to the Tasman Sea.  We got coffees from the coffee caravan and went down to the river - this was there; called Bearing.  Depicting a cracked ball bearing I suspect.
I figured it would make a good mono blip.
Quick Description from Google - Carved into a huge stainless-steel sphere is a deep fissure that follows the route of the Whanganui River, a sculpture by David McCracken.

We are back in Wellington now after 5 hours of driving.  Getting my blip in before the children get home from tennis.
