deep purple

Quite cold today and a lovely crispy frost this morning. Been sorting out seeds to plant in the greenhouse in the next few days, and tomatoes on the kitchen windowsill. My new washing machine was delivered this afternoon and is quietly chugging away as I try and catch up with the washing.

Noticed these pretty little irises were flowering this morning - such a striking deep purple.
