This is Batman smoking, and in her shadow you can see me, Robin. It's my photographic portrayal of our relationship, we're keeping it from the world. We joke about how she's my secret girlfriend, but we both don't care enough of what people say to allow it to separate us. It's nice.

Eyes glazed with repetitive motion
and my finger is beginning to cramp.

Catching shuddering breaths
in tight finger webs.
Hot palms wrapped tightly around
Dreams and ambitions.

Both too scared to follow
and leave the safety of
our comfort zone.
Our secret relationship.
