Life through the lens...

By ValC

The mouth of the river Exe.

A beautiful day, and a good journey.
Arrived in Exmouth about 4pm.
Staying two nights at the Premier Inn on the sea front.
The town is quiet at the moment. The season starts at Easter.
We were amazed at the new flats around the old harbour. Quite stylish, although some of the locals call them "Lego houses".
Painted in bright colours. I liked them.
Will try and put a photo on extras.
This blip was taken just before the sun went down, looking across the Exe estuary. I liked the reflection of the sun on the water.
Found a nice pub, with a huge log fire, to warm us up. A dish of Exmouth mussels, crusty bread and chips has filled me up.
Should sleep well!
