Mulla Mulla Flower

This flower is usually found in the Pilbara region of Northern W.A, a very hardy plant which the indigenous people use as a herb.
sometimes known as the "pussy tail" because of its long furry like cone shape head.
we saw them in Kings Park today, it took ages to track down the name of this unusual flower, i hope all "flower Friday" blippers enjoy this unique little flower?
My extra is  a shot of Kings Park ...
