West Scrafton

First I must apologise for yesterday's post and  puzzle, the answer is assault and battery, Mrs A S was very scathing when she found out about the post and its answer :0)
On to today, a visit to my old picking mates new patch up in Coverdale. The village  of West Scrafton is very pretty and contain a house owned by the author of the James Herriot  books, still owned by the family seen in extras with Silus sat in the gate way. The main image is a camera generated HDR of the gill running through the village.
We then had an early tea at  The Saddle Room which I highly recommend if you are in the area.
