Sun dog

Sun dogs are a member of a large family of halos, created by light interacting with ice crystals in the atmosphere.
We spotted these on our way to Lowes buy supplies for a job tomorrow. I was always told it meant a change in the weather, but I think that was an old wives tale!
Our pup was sick all night so when she seemed better today I was very grateful. However we both were worn out from lack of sleep.
