Canal Corridor

I found this canal in our neighborhood to be fascinating in how much it has the elements of a corridor in a building.  Some folks would call this a drainage ditch which it is.  These are in strategic places in our neighborhood for drainage and to help with the heavy rains that come in our area.  I think the trees along the edge and the reflections give it an artistic quality that belies the term drainage ditch.  This one separates the back yards of people who have this at the rear of their yards as their property line.
