Going Formal

Tonight Al and I are attending a one of a kind event in our little town....a Red Carpet premier of a newly composed score for the Hitchcock classic, "The Birds".   This is a detail from the outfit I will wear!

The original movie didn't have a conventional score the way most Hitchcock movies did, so a local composer has created his version in the style of Bernard Herrmann, who did many films for the master of suspense.
The score is being performed by our community orchestra while we watch the movie....it should be amazing!!!

I'd like to send a birthday shout-out to our good buddy, Tim, with the hopes that the weather is co-operating and giving him a beautiful, sunny Florida day!!!
