never a week

I think I can eke another couple of months' use our of the chainring and cassette and chain so I'll try to get the rear mech to do the same. I've lost three over the past seven years to my spokes but one of those and one additional one (destroyed by the chain without it even needing to enlist the spokes' help) were both suffering from the bit where they attach to the dropout no longer rotating, resulting in dodgy shifting and marked skipping if they got themselves stuck too far back so that there was less than half a sprocket's worth of chain-contact. As this one is otheriwsr undamaged (lacking even the usual bent/stretched/waggly cage) I'll keep it and try and dismember it sufficiently to make the sticky bit move again.
