The Wedgewood Stone.

An early morning Sunday walk took a friend and me through the College campus, past the staggered layers of playing fields - which form a step formation up a hill - and past The Wedgewood Stone; a memorial (from a mother) to an Old Marlburian killed during the First World War.

This uppermost sports pitch is affectionatly known as Wedgewood and has glorious views across the campus. It is, however, the least favourite of the students, being a good 15 minute hike up field, and the most exposed of all the sport pitches to the ravages of the Wiltshire elements.
