Beyond the call of duty

The third - and unintended - day of moving house. I asked the movers to bring my potted tree fern and Big Tam insisted on hauling it up about 8 steps from street level where I hope to find a way of planting it!

I'm putting it down here below house level in the hope that it's out of the wind!
