Goldcrest

Both cuter and more covert in large.
More fiery alternative.

I've just back blipped a North Parade shop for yesterday's entry.
We ambled along the Cherwell beyond the Science Area in the early afternoon; an otter has been spotted along there so we went to try our luck. No otters were spotted (...), but we did see a variety of birds, including this goldcrest, a wren, long-tailed tits, a red kite, and some familiar floating friends. We also passed a mysteriously creaky wood, and found some fun burrs and bracket fungi.

I've uploaded some other shots to Flickr (right from here).
