Goat's Water

...as viewed while coming down from the top of Dow Crag.

Sunday on a club meet is always a bit peculiar, with people needing to leave at a variety of times, but there's also the requirement to clean up after ourselves... although I've noticed that some folk don't ever do their share!

I'd thought that I might visit another RSPB nature reserve on the way home, but in the end the lure of walking along the top of Dow Crag was too much, and N decided to come along too.

I did a bit of cleaning and packed the car, and then we set off.  N was in more of a rush than I was, and he's also a faster walker, so we parted after the steep ascent to Dow Crag.  It's a while since I've walked by myself but I really enjoyed being able to go at my own pace and to stop and look at the views when I wanted.

Then came the M6...

Two extras, and the weekend starts right there.
